Matthew Matt James is a North Carolina native born on 5 December 1991. Matthew Matt James was the mixed-race son of Manny James (of Jamaican descent) and Patty James. Her mother is caucasian while his father was Nigerian. When he graduated of Sanderson High School, in 2010, James enrolled in Wake Forest University and obtained the Bachelor's degree in Economics. James' fame kick-started after he appeared on screen for his debut on the reality show star on The Bachelorette. The Bachelor season 25 premiered in the year 2021. The next Bachelor was James, who was the first African American to play the lead part. James was a perfect fit for the role as his height is tall, handsome and well-rounded and has a good sense of humorous. Rachael Krakconnell, whom James had picked as his partner for the rest of the season. Following year, 2021, he was joined with the famous dancer Arnold to compete in the season 30 of Dancing with the Stars. James and Arnold finished 12th.
